Since rAwks has left, I know that a lot of people who post on this site haven’t had their questions answered. He was really good at answering posts. Unfortunately, I am not so good at this.

I promise that if you email me, I will answer you. If you post, another poster MIGHT answer you. I GUARENTEE I will answer you. Just please read other helpful posts on this site, instead of just the one at the top of the page. It will save everyone a lot of time (especially me).

I know that with all of the changes with Apple and iTunes that there will be many questions. Just send me an email and I will help you as best I can.

   As you know the app store is comming out soon should I download it and use it right away or do you guys think there will be bugs and it will be full of problems and I should just wait till all the problems are pounded out?

   Kreos, I bet there will always, always be a Jailbreak for any version. It’s hard to say though. My suggestion is just wait like a month to upgrade to 2.0 see whats out there at that time. Then decide what to do. But most importantly, DO NOT update you iPod or iTunes while in a jailbroken mode- (you will regret it!)

   Well i followed the instructions to how to jailbreak my ipod touch and it all went fine, installed the Ziphone click the jailbreak button and the ipod showed a black screen with loads of weird writting on it, so i thought it had been jailbroken when itunes decided to sync it didnt let me a showed up a message saying ” iTunes could not connect to ipod “” because an unknown error occurred (0XE8000022). I then decided to hold down the home button and turn off button as told but that did not do anything. Please could you help me as i am scared it has broken and wont be able to get repaired.    ok i have a question. i downoaded ziphone and everything worked fine. but when i went to installer on my itouch i couldnt install bosstool and it said “error package download failed: can’t find host!”. and for some strange reason wi-fi wont connect on my itouch and im wondering if thats the problem. someone please help!!

    Dont bother with the jailbreakme method, it’s old. Instead, update your touch to 1.1.4 and use one of the easy jailbreaking methods available (guides are on this site) I used ZiPhone..easy as pie.

    i have a few problems, yesterday i jailbroke using this latest 1.1.4 jailbreak method (using Ziphone) and every went fine. but then when i went to put my music on the ipod, it synced 7 gigs of music and i thought it was all done. but then when i went on my touch and went to music it was telling me i had no music:S since it was late at night i just decided to restore it and sync it again since i was taking it with me the next morning. now its a couple days later and i want to jailbreak it again and its stuck on 1.1.5 firmware:s how do i downgrade this? i restored but when its done restoreing it just shows 1.1.5 again.

    shift+click ‘Restore’ mate and then you can manually select the firmware file you want to restore to your pod. You might need to install iTunes 7.5 first before you restore with the 1.1.4 firmware though

    Help!
    I’m tryin’ to downgrade from 1.1.5 to 1.1.4 and i followed the instructions on this website.
    It said to get itunes 7.5(which i did). Then it said if itunes didn’t run then you have to delete “iTunes Library.itl”
    I did this.
    And now all my music is gone! i had over 400 songs in my itunes library..
    What do i do to get my songs and video back??
