iPod Touch Release Date

The announcement on September 5th introduced the iPod Touch to the world but Steve Jobs did not say exactly when the iPod Touch would be released. He did mention that it would be out later this month.

On the official apple website it mentions that the iPod Touch will ship by September 28th. This does not mean that you won’t be able to find it in stores earlier. Check this page often as we will keep you informed on the stores that are carrying the iPods and will let you know when you will be able to purchase the new iPod Touch and start hacking!

September 13th-  The first shipment of iPod Touch’s have been released at select Apple retail stores.  Check here for an updated post about which Apple stores have them available.
