I would like to see firewire sync/charging re-enabled on the original ipod touch. It worked on the first few firmwares, but not now. Clearly it’s a software change that disabled it, shouldn’t be terribly difficult to bring it back, right?

I would like to see Bluetooth GPS puck compatability that can be used with Google maps and other 3rd party GPS tracking apps.
Full bluetooth capabilities would be great.

I’m working on a Mac Mini media center and I was planning on using an iPod touch as a remote. And it would be even better to use it for the TV. Is there an adapter for Bluetooth to Infrared? Or another way to use an iPod touch as tv remote?

Also, there’s something called vlc4iphone. Great app, play media formats the iPhone can’t. Has a lot of great radio streams and allows you to navigate your root directory. Keep in mind that’s its only just been released, so expect more. Again, make requests here: http://www.zodttd.com
