I’m trying to jailbreak my iPod touch 2g and it is telling me that is can’t find the original 2.2.1 firmware. Why is the program doing this and how can I fix it? Someone PLEASE help.

Hey everyone!! I just recently attemped to jailbreak my iPod Touch on March 11…I believe…and it turned off and NEVER turned back on…So, I took it to my local Apple store, and got a new one…but the told me that if they were able to turn it on, and see that the firmware was hacked, they wouldn’t give me a repplacement one…But I clicked on the wrong thing when I was restoring my Original Firmware…I woud try again , and do it righ..But,,, my Mom WON’T LET MEH!! I just jb my ipod 2g, it went fine but the Quickfreedom keeps saying “error patching the file!”, so now i have a jb ipod touch 2g but now installer or cydia. i had to restore with original firmware. please help!….
