   Just reporting to you tell you guys i successfully jail broke my ipod touch 2G with the tool posted on the quickpwn website. So its very possible now!

    when trying to restore with iTunes using quickfreedom, it gives me error 1611! Anyone else have this problem?

    no need for a response now. I JB it on a PC with quickfreedom and then just synced it on my mac and it worked fine.

    if u have the error 1611 when u try to restore the ipod with the custom firmware make sure that the ipod is in dfu mode and when u press the “start pr jailbreak on quickfreedom make sure the ipod screen is white. also make sure itunes is open whilst doing this.

    I just jb my ipod 2g, it went fine but the Quickfreedom keeps saying “error patching the file!”, so now i have a jb ipod touch 2g but now installer or cydia. i had to restore with original firmware. please help!….

    Hey everyone!! I just recently attemped to jailbreak my iPod Touch on March 11…I believe…and it turned off and NEVER turned back on…So, I took it to my local Apple store, and got a new one…but the told me that if they were able to turn it on, and see that the firmware was hacked, they wouldn’t give me a repplacement one…But I clicked on the wrong thing when I was restoring my Original Firmware…I woud try again , and do it righ..But,,, my Mom WON’T LET MEH!!     i have hacked a few 2g ipods, but i am having probs with a 2g on os4.1 and a pb model. i go through all steps with limera1n and am told it has worked but no logo appears on screen ,,, can anyone help
