Official Add/Edit Calender Update

Author : kdollar

At macforums there is  a thread started by davidjearly where he has a screen capture of an email exchange between himself and “Steve Jobs”. We don’t know if this really is Steve Jobs or someone in the Apple department (or may in fact be a fake email). But it has been making the rounds on popular tech news sites and if this is real the add/edit calendar feature would be added in an upcoming software update for the iPod Touch. I don’t really use this feature but I know many do and are waiting for it to be added either by Apple or  a 3rd party program once the iPod Touch has been jailbreak’d.

I saw this, I think its true!

It would be stupid not to add this feature! Does anybody know when the next software update will be?

    Thanks,

    Neil

    Ohwell, thanks anyway!

It makes sense to me. Especially with all of those earlier ads that boasted the feature.

I e-mailed the iCEO as well and got a response, no joke. Same stuff, the iCal functionality will be added in a future software update.

Oh please. I HIGHLY doubt Steve Jobs is taking the time to respond to peoples’ individual requests for functionality additions. You guys have to be kidding me. Do you have any idea how many emails someone like him has to handle a day? He would leave that stuff to Customer Service.

That said, I do hope they add the functionality to the calendar.
