Ok, here are clarifications and the low-down on everything to do with jailbreaking.

The iPod Touch 1st Gen is jailbreakable using QuickPwn. This is for any 2.0 software and 8.0(1) iTunes. It is also able to be jailbroken if you are running any 1.0 firmware (1.1.4 or 1.1.5 suggested) using ZiPhone.

The iPod Touch 2nd Gen is not yet jailbreakable using any jailbreaking method.

The iPhone 1st Gen can be jailbroken using QuickPwn if running 2.0 firmware or ZiPhone using 1.0 firmware. To unlock it, you must use WinPwn (I suggest this over QuickPwn because of the customization and detali you should put into unlocking a phone).

The iPhone 3G is jailbreakable if you use QuickPwn running 2.0 or ZiPhone with 1.0 BUT it is not yet unlockable.

   cause i recently bought a ipod touch 32 gb in aruba
   but cant jailbraik it with quickpwn cuase my windows says there has been a error accuired and shuts the program down.

   @Randy: If you look at your iPod Touch and it has a silver bordering on the front and the back plate is more rounded, then you have the 2gen ipod touch. Also, if you have a side volume and built-in speakers for your ipod touch, then you got a 2gen ipod touch.
