Sure enough, there was one. I updated. Then, I remember hearing about JB'ing. I thought I'd give it a shot. After much research, even more trial and error, I downloaded QuickFreedom. Took a while, but it finally worked. No problems. Everything is working just fine and it has been for 2 days now. I am a little sad that all my applications and data were deleted, but my iPod is running like brand new. No crashes, and it even seems slightly faster. And i've seen some reports on the ipod touch that it will also brick. But this could be wrong, but just be carefull.
