Apple has just announced their new iPod which will soon join the iPod family. It is called the iPod Touch and will include many of the features that were introduced for the iPhone. It is a bit slimmer then the iphone with the same form factor. It includes coverflow, wifi, safari (for web browsing) and the ability to buy songs from iTunes using Wifi, a new feature that was also announced today for the iPhone .

This site will cover the iPod Touch and the hacking scene that is bound to happen. Like all new hot tech items, people will find ways to install applications and hack your iPod. You will then be able to get more out of your iPod then even Apple thought was possible.

   I’d like to see it running itunes, or have the ability to some how connect to your itunes, and iphoto. A media extender of sorts for around the house, an advanced remote for your apple tv perhaps.

    you can get a price break on the touch if you use the EPP store. If you know someone who works at Starbucks, they can get it for you. However, I don’t know if they check to see if you are an actual employee. I don’t think I’ll spill the beans on the site…dig a little…you’ll get it

    to whoever asked about it running itunes…it does! that is gunna be an included feature so you should be set. and what i would really like to get out of it would definatly be a text editor and aim. but i am pretty sure if you just go om meebo.com on the internet browser you can use aim and that kinda stuff

    it wud be gr8 if the ipod touch got an e-book reader and a mail client.Another feature that wud be interesting is to get skype on ipod touch.that wud be really gr8…..
