Apple has released new software for the iPod Touch and iPhone bringing them both to 1.14. There has been no indication what the update fixed or added. There were some initial guesses that this may be the update that enabled the iPod Touch for SDK’s that are soon to be released. But so far there has been no indication that this is the case.
I have not updated my iPod Touch to 1.14 because I have my iPod Touch is currently jailbroken. I haven’t heard either way if the update breaks the jailbreak but I am assuming it does.

Its ment to be safe it can be jailbroken using ziphone
The SDK should be out in February…? I hope so because i really want those applications without jailbreaking for the 2 time.
You can find out more information about some of the minor things 1.1.4 has to offer here:

There really isnt a point to upgrading until SDK comes out.
@Lewis
Apple Decided that they wont be releasing the SDK in February, itll come out in Mid March I believe. I could be wrong, but thats what I heard.
I think I found something that is an add-on in the 1.1.4 update. It could have been added prior, but I hadnt seen this before and it wont work on my 1.1.3 ipod (hence why it looks greyed out)
let me know what you all think

i managed to jailbreak my ipod touch using Ziphone on 1.1.4 and works fine. Some of the addons in Installer do require 1.1.3 though so there is not as much to offer but still loads
I heard the SDK won’t be out until, maybe, March 6…?
