well, since i only have one computer i couldnt try to restore from another one. The only option i saw was to reset my system, i uninstalled itunes, installed again reboot my pc, and as a miracle, itunes restored my ipod without problems...

It was really a horrible experience, and I guess I'll have to wait until february to get some of the cool programs that installer offers, but i'm not trying to jailbreakit. cheers! have a happy new year!

well my experience trying to jailbreak my ipod was horrible. when i tried to downgrade the firmware itunes showed "extracting...", my touch restarted and then an error came "IPOD CANT BE UPGRADED", and the conect-t-itunes logo appeared on my touch's screen; then a message appeared "A IPOD IN RECOVERY MODE" blah blah... so the only option i had was to restore to factory settings... when i tried to do so, another message from itunes "UNKNOW ERROR -50". Apple suggests to creat a dll called appleipod of something like that, i did it, and then again tried to restore...Well, everything looked nice, itunes downloaded the latest restore data from server and it extracted, then "IPOD CANT BE RESTORE, THE IS NOT ENOUGH SPACE" OMG! It this point I was allmost crying,

Well, i'm royally screwed. I downgraded to 1.1.1 for my jailbreak and had fun with that, but heard about the iBrickr. So i tried doing that so i could get NES games for the NES application from the Installer thing when you jailbreak it. Buut...i found out i needed to downgrade again to 1.0.2 for iBrickr to work, so i did that...but instead i accidentally jumped ahead in instructions. I was suppose to do the "Shift + Check For Update" and click the 1.0.2 from the iBrickr directory...instead i did it from the saved file on my desktop...so then my iPod touch was recognized in iTunes as an iPhone, and it said it found an iPhone in recovery mode and needed to recover it. So i did, and it said "error, couldn't complete recovery"....so basically i have no function of my iPod and it is recognized as an iPhone when it really isn't. What do i do about that? I'm pretty sure if i took it to Apple, they would void my warrenty. *cries*
