sooo I jailbroke my ipod just fine but when I went to installer and tried to install anything it said ” ERROR package download failed!”. What’s wrong???

I cannot turn off my ipod,each and everytime i turn it off it goes back to usb mode and i need to use jailbreak to reboot it.anyone?

Okay so everything went smoothly, i jailbroke my ipod using vs 3.0 and my ipod was downgraded to 1.1.4
except the INSTALLER button doest show up on my home screen! only “zibris blog” icon shows up
Please help!!
