There is no need to be disappointed with the Dev team; isn't it normal for this to happen? - that the older versions can get jailbroken easily. "As you can see, they are more than behind. But my opinion, and history backs this up, is that they will get to the ipod lineup after having completed all iPhone Jailbreaks/unlocks. And since they have gotten quite efficient at it, I don’t think it will be too long." So if you know it, why say disappointed when you know its coming soon? I, for one agree with bob.
