Well, it looks like there is a new solution to jailbreak your iPod Touch and iPhone. Hackers have just released a new open source solution that allows you to jailbreak your iPod by just going to the site: jailbreakme.com. It will then use the tiff exploit and will then allow you to install AppSnapp. This will then jailbreak your iPod and allow you to install applications and  games to your iPod Touch/iPhone. This is the easiest jailbreak solution yet and I really don’t think it can get much easier then this!

Apple has just announced that they will be releasing  an SDK in February for developers of 3rd party applications. This will allow people to create programs that will natively run on the iPod Touch and iPhone without having to jailbreak the device. This is great news for all iPhone and iPod Touch owners.

Well I know a couple people have been having trouble jailbreaking their iPod Touch.New methods have now been released that are one-click jailbreak’s

Well with the new release of iJailbreak it shouldn’t be a problem for mac users. This software automatically allows users to install 3rd party applications on their iPod Touch. You do need a Intel Mac for this to work..

PC users can use touchfree for an automatic jailbreak for the iPod Touch. You will need .NET Framework 3.0 installed to use the jailbreak method.

Apple now has a Web Apps page for the iPod Touch and iPhone applications. This allows for users to go directly to the apple site and use popular web applications  (When using their iPod Device). Who knows maybe eventually they will have a 3rd party applications section on the site…

I have just put up the iPod Touch Jailbreak tutorial on the site. This was made by iPhone Alley and the touchdev team.  This jailbreak method is over 33 steps. I am sure an easier way to do this will be out shortly so if you aren’t 100% sure you can handle this exploit just wait.

Engadget has just reported that people have now been able to install third party applications using the exploit by toc2rta. No one has released the actual software to do this but I am sure within the next couple days this will be widely available as multiple groups are working on it. The mail and maps are reported to work great…more updates can be found here.

Well it is finally here the iPod Touch has been hacked. Toc2rta has officially announced on their site that they have broken the iPod Touch and iPhone OS. At the moment, this hack should only be attempted by  experienced users because it is complicated. We will have a tutorial up shortly…

Niacin from Toc2rta has just posted that they are accepting beta testers to test the hack that will free the iPod Touch and the iPhone. They are asking potential testers to go to: irc.toc2rta.com #iphone or #itouch. It looks like the release will be in the upcoming days with the pace of the current hacking news.
